I couldn’t decide which ones to share, so there are quite a few! This little guy was just so sweet! Only 5 days old, but very determined to try to stay awake for his photo shoot! He was very patient with all of the crazy things that I did to him. Wooden bowls, benches, etc! Thanks so much “J” and “P” for letting me photograph your new little guy. It was so much fun!

A couple of weeks ago I attended Skye Hardwick’s Soulographer workshop in Flint. I have admired Skye’s work for the last couple of years. When I first looked at her website, I was in awe! It was so great to watch her in action with her camera and editing in Photoshop. I really learned so much and I think it really sparked my creativity. I also met so many great photographers both local and out of state! Here are a few photos of the child models we had at the workshop!
This is “G”. I have been photographing her since she was born. Her mom has helped me out so much with my photography venture by passing out my cards all over the place and having a Portrait Party for me, etc. I met her on a forum online for moms in Michigan. She has been such a good friend to me, like we have known each other since we were little kind of friend! She and her husband and 2 girls are leaving for Hawaii in a few weeks. I will really miss them, but I know we will keep in touch! I also know that she will love it in Hawaii and she is such a good friend that she will make many new ones! So, here is probably way too many pictures from my session with “G”!
I am kicking off my new blog with a preview from a session with two adorable little guys! Being a mom of two boys I can really relate to this situation. Lots of running, energy, and just plain silliness! Mom was smart and at the end of the session she pulled out a bag of m & m’s, which helped get some cute expressions!
