This session was really fun for me! I have know these girls since they were 7. When we first moved in our house almost 9 years ago they befriended our son who was only 3 at the time. The were really his first friends! They were also there when our second son was born and have been able to watch him grow up. I know they are so excited to be 16! I can’t believe it will be only another year and we will be doing Senior pics! Where does the time go?
A couple of weeks ago I attended Skye Hardwick’s Soulographer workshop in Flint. I have admired Skye’s work for the last couple of years. When I first looked at her website, I was in awe! It was so great to watch her in action with her camera and editing in Photoshop. I really learned so much and I think it really sparked my creativity. I also met so many great photographers both local and out of state! Here are a few photos of the child models we had at the workshop!
This is “G”. I have been photographing her since she was born. Her mom has helped me out so much with my photography venture by passing out my cards all over the place and having a Portrait Party for me, etc. I met her on a forum online for moms in Michigan. She has been such a good friend to me, like we have known each other since we were little kind of friend! She and her husband and 2 girls are leaving for Hawaii in a few weeks. I will really miss them, but I know we will keep in touch! I also know that she will love it in Hawaii and she is such a good friend that she will make many new ones! So, here is probably way too many pictures from my session with “G”!
